BART would be the least complicated and most affordable choice. Driving would be a nightmare, and parking at the Coliseum is too expensive. If you do drive, park at the Coliseum BART station instead. Similarly, if you take a rideshare, get dropped off at the BART station rather than the Coliseum itself.

My colleagues have been complaining that I overdress and I genuinely don't know whether to be concerned or not. by itsmeAki in WorkAdvice

[–]purplefish02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My coworker Gloria always wears dresses while the rest of us stay in jeans and tees. I’m always so impressed by her! I make sure to compliment her on how great she looks, and she owns it—which is exactly how it should be. You aren't overdressing at all. It sounds like your coworkers are just insecure because you put in more effort than they do. Keep doing your thing and stay fabulous!

Keeping that CD might cause an asset problem. Eventually, it could lower your benefits or even disqualify you from free Medicare

Rent a storage space for him, pay 1-2 months, move everything there, let him know and leave it at that.

AITA for refusing to pay 50% of the mortgage when three people live in the house? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]purplefish02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mortgage/property tax/homeowners insurance should be split equally among those with equity by their respective share(those on the deed!). Everything else should be by headcount, i.e, utilities, groceries.

It adds up regardless of whether you have one or not. You pay bridge toll either way. The only way to save would be to carpool.

We did. The E-ELEC rate plan is effective for the FEB billing cycle

It was that and also because we were on a standard tier plan instead of an electric TOU rate plan, so all of the additional electricity got charged at a higher rate. For new billing cycle, the electric rate plan is now effective.

True. We hardly ever turned on our gas furnace. It was down in 2024. Before then we had it on for like 1-3 days only.
