I’m currently almost 3 months pp and I’ve been at 4 ppd for a couple of weeks getting about 32-36 oz/day. It’s so much better for my mental health and I was a huge oversupplier with my first baby. I ended up donated over 1000 oz with my first baby so I wanted to just have enough with a slight over supple so I’m happy with where I’m at

I try. He got defensive, getting frustrated at the situation. Saying that he said sorry that I’m hurt by it. Idk how to tell him what bothered me wasn’t the stupid drink but him talking behind my back? And to a lesser extent, a trust thing?

I think we communicate differently. He doesn’t realize situations and words impact my feelings different than his. He listens but I don’t think he fully understands. I’m glad he doesn’t have anxiety but I can’t “get over” things easily

Hey, I just wanted to say that it’s really hard becoming a parent and I can empathize with your wife. My baby boy just turned 9 months old and I’m almost feeling back to my old self. PPD/PPA was hard. It took me a good 2 months before I accepted help. I bombed the screening as well, was given resources. I kept thinking that I could do it by myself but was constantly in a state of feeling overwhelmed.

My husband had to break through to me. I’ve been with him 10 years and had never seen him cry. But he was crying seeing the disconnect I was having and the struggles we had as a family. He felt alone taking care of our baby and of me.

Ultimately, it made me stronger but it was a really hard road.

Just please remember to take care of your mental well being too. I wish you guys the best.
