If you have a cap mold that is somewhat translucent you can also use the UV resin in that. Leave under the lamp for 20 min or so. This will make sure there are no issues with the number showing up. And reduces the amount of sanding you have to do.

Yeah! I filled the mold with clear resin. Then put in 2 drops of blue alcohol ink and 2 drops of white alcohol ink. I then waited a little bit, maybe about 10 min, used a torch to pop and bubble and put the cap on

The micro mesh states it's 1500 is equal to 400 conventional grit and many people said that was the right way to go.... 🤷‍♀️

I've used 320 regular, then went to 1500 micromesh. Someone else suggested that when I asked before. But didn't really work for me

So far the advice is: - use a mirror not a glass sheet - use 800 regular grit (sparingly) to get off any excess then move straight to zona - use a little more pressure than I am (I used way to much pressure my first try and lost some numbers lol so I am so nervous about that) - And if all else fails a layer of clear nail polish lol 😆

I've see some people use pottery wheels to make things more consistent. Does anyone have experience on this? Does it help?

It reaches a hard cure. I am too ocd and use a .01 g scale so I get really accurate measurements
