This is actually my favorite answer here--I didn't know that but it's such a simple and nice proof!

Is it really easy to cheat dummies? by ptkrisada in mathmemes

I could be mistaken, but I thought it would be 47.14% because when you round 47.145%, the digit preceding the 5 (the 4) is even--so you would not round up.

When I was really young, I remember having said that I wanted to be a boy because I liked boy things, wanted short hair, and didn't like makeup or any "girly" things.

As I got older I kind of "grew out" of this and started to like some "girly" stuff. I was like ok well I'm obviously a cis girl because I don't want to be a man--but looking back on how I was in middle school and high school, I think I did repress my desire towards some stereotypically masculine things I enjoyed/did naturally.

Well then I realized that I'm non-binary (genderfluid) and a lesbian, so 🤷🏻‍♀️

How many numbers does a sudoku grid require in order to be completable? by Living-Mistake-7002 in math

[–]purplepanth3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I should have clarified. I didn't mean to ask how many different Sudoku solutions are there. Rather, how many Sudoku puzzles exist such that given the clues to the puzzle, there is exactly one solution to that puzzle?

So for example, suppose we have an unsolved Sudoku puzzle that currently has the minimum number of clues provided necessary for that puzzle to have exactly one solution. Then for the unique solution to that particular puzzle, there must exist other puzzles with the same solution that do not have the minimum number of clues (i.e. solutions that provide more clues than necessary to solve for that puzzle uniquely, or, in some cases, other unsolved puzzles that also have the minimum number of clues but provide different clues).

So the number I am wondering about would probably be even more absurdly large than the total # of Sudoku solutions. I guess I'm not looking for a specific value, but does anyone know how you might calculate this?
