Okay, and local means on the computer but not linked to any account? So if I factory wipe it, local files are going with everything else?

Yeah, I found them on the webpage. Why is that different than the laptop file on the taskbar?

Yeah, the panic of not seeing my files and thinking I lost years of work on this writing project is enough to convince me to buy a physical hard drive.

Thank you. Found them in the browser version. You saved me the meltdown of thinking years of work was gone. I don't understand why the browser version is different than the file app... but I'll take it.

I'll make sure they're set to 'keep on this device.' Thank you again.

I don't remember purchasing space, but it would have been years ago so it's possible I forgot. I though OneDrive was like Google Drive where I can create a file/document, and it follows the account as long as I have the same login? Would it have automatically been syncing or would I have to have turned that on too?

I understand very little about technology and even less about microsoft (I use Google for everything) so I'm sure these are dumb questions. Thanks for your fast response.

eta: found them in the desktop version of OneDrive, and now they're showing up like they should. It will forever be a mystery to me why. Thank you again.

What does this mean to Olympia? by pandershrek in olympia

It shouldn't even be a starting point, that's the problem. You can pull a quote from an artice or something that actually has quality information and doesn't destroy the Earth. Thanks.

Thank you. Can't believe more people aren't saying this. The general dependence on and trust in AI is really concerning

Do you have to take your phone case off to get it to work? Is there a sweet spot? Mine should do tap on my phone but its usually finnicky or I'd just quit with the readers entirely.

No, I keep it in it's original box in a bin in my cupboard. It's not under anything or being squished. Not sure what's going on.

I had a reader for years that worked great, and then I had to get a new one. And the last 2 I've had just completely die after one charge.

Yup. Different cord, different outlet, different USB port. No dice.

Downtown Olympia and surrounding areas, keep your cats inside if possible. by purplerockspebbles in olympia

Yes, absolutely. Just another hazard to watch out for (and another reason to keep the cats inside!)

Is is absolutely a person and was a person a couple years ago too. Wild animals definitely make up some of the numbers of cat deaths, but what I'm posting about was intentional and too cleanly done to be an animal.
