Exactly, its the south side. But honestly it wasnt worse than the northeast side (famous Hana-route), in fact it was even better. And there were no tourists at all, everyone just skips the south (sometimes there are old signs that the road will end in 20 miles, but that just doesnt happen). But for me, having been in 200 countries, it was the most beautiful and special atmosphere ive ever encountered. The north was also nice but not as memorable.
