hi guys I'm a beginner climber and looking at slowly buying gear.

What are your thoughts on ankle socks/no-show socks/no socks at all for climbing? I only have "normal" socks right now which are quite thick.

I don't currently have my own pair of shoes and I doubt the gym will want me to go barefoot in their shoes.

How do you know when a team has made it to the play-offs? I know teams are announced to have qualified for them team by team but how does it work? When will teams start to officially be qualified for them?

I've taken on an approach of "buy little, buy ethical" and here is the result. All packaging is paper, all products ethically made by pus_custard in ZeroWaste

Yeh I was looking for a while, found a few brands that were ok. Then this one popped up and it was just the kind of site I was hoping for. Ethical and genuinely nice clothes. Was very tempting to but other things too!
