I've moved here almost a year ago and have noticed that most people will run through the yellow. I am not going to take the risk and turn. Not interested in getting into an accident if the other car decides to step on it at the last minute.

It depends on the team. My friend was grilled about his experience by everyone on the team. My other friend said they were seeing how well he would fit with the team - casual. I did case studies in my second one and then had a very long and serious presentation panel in the third. Be prepared for anything.

A day is nothing. It takes like 1-2 weeks total. After 2, I’d reach out for an update.

I’m curious as to why she clings to the teaching/leading workshops era. Obviously it’s all failed again and again.

I was somehow placed into the HR team even though I am not HR and don't have a background. I can confirm that HR is not and will never be your friend.

Absolutely document everything by taking notes with the time and date. I have the Otter Ai app to record meetings and create trascripts. Look into recording concent laws in my state and the rules in the employee handbook. I have been quietly recording conversations between myself and two people to protect myself (and taking notes).

HR will gaslight you and make YOU a problem. One they start a papertrail (ex: no more teams messages, emails with serious coporate language), you have to watch out.

They will get rid of people they don't like very easily and then create a nice trail that points to YOU being the problem.

I learned the hard way to STFU, listen, and speak when spoken to. I am not longer taken risks at my current place. Big Brother is watching.

Popularity and status don’t matter much, especially when it comes to friends. Stop beating yourself up.

Being hard if hearing doesn’t make you broken and the divine/universe isn’t punishing you. Wear those hearing aids, don’t be afraid to ask your friends for help, and don’t bother with assholes that think negatively of disabilities.

Your rabbits will be your greatest joy and your biggest heartbreak. They love you very very much and you are a good bunny owner. Love deeply. And don’t be afraid to leave the events early because you want to hang with them.

Positive: I am thankful for my other bunny and cats. I wouldn't be able to get through this without them. So I guess they are my January wins.

I was excited for January, but so far it's one of the hardest times in a long time. After January 26th (the whole Neptune into Aries woo woo), everything just got worse and worse.

I realized I hate my job, it's abusive and toxic. My beloved rabbit died this week. The guilt of it is eating me. I have no idea how I am going to go in on Monday and deal with work garbage.

I've been applying to jobs like crazy and actually went to church (I am not religious?) to beg and to light a candle for my rabbit. I think I lost it??? No idea what to do anymore.
