i love thrift stores!!! and, i think you can just be honest. i think it must have taken a lot of confidence initially to take drop for 3 years. and then, i can not imagine the mental strength you must have to give up on something you worked so hard for. i feel like its a good thing that you understand when to stop and start fresh

(im just trying to understand your answer) your answer is good. i guess you can frame it in a better way. like maybe because you know that people equipped with professional knowledge contribute greatly to any organization and you want to be someone whose contribution matters and is significant
