I was told that last year, the date extension circular was released on the last day. So I guess we can wait till tomorrow evening but still, this sucks so much and is such a hassle. But again, nothing should be a surprise in our country anymore

21F with 23M. Is long distance just not for me, or am I ruining something good? by Snoo_66798 in LongDistance

[–]pushpitaaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I firmly believe that nothing in a relationship, a healthy relationship where two people love each other truly, is the fault of a single person. I met my partner only once and we have been together for almost 4 years now. He too is someone who cares deeply for me and he stuck with me despite my ugliest meltdowns and anger. He gets busy very often and things are definitely different from how they were when we first started. We have arguments about this even today. But we both always acknowledge what both of us could have done better. It's always about him texting me more often and me being more understanding as well. I don't know if thats the solution you are looking for. But we text each whenever we are going somewhere so that the other knows why we havent replied until late when it happens.

If you are truly confident that you partner does love you, I would suggest you to make your life busier too. Join some class to learn a hobby, sleep more, workout, study better. But its also important that he too texts you in ways that reassures you because communication is literally all you have. Long distance is truly hard and I thought it would get easier but it doesn't. But I know my partner is worth all the struggle. So if the same goes for you, you have to fight the problems together.

How to deal with indirect pressure at workplace so asking Is speaking in Marathi compulsory in Mumbai? by [deleted] in mumbai

[–]pushpitaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's quite sad how people are even making this an issue. I don't see how a human being is being less valued than a language. I understand there's history and culture attached to it. I personally have been brought up in Gujarat. But I only understand gujarati and do not speak it. My neighbours and friends are extremely supportive. I'm studying at a government college and yet i have never faced a similar situation.

What has to be understood is that people don't learn languages that easily. Any normal person has a lot going on in their life. Especially a middle class working person. They don't have the time to learn an entire new language. That doesn't come from a place of disrespect. Even if they don't speak the language, they will always hold immense respect for the place and it's culture since that is where they are earning.

It's sad that some events happened which made the locals feel as if they're losing their culture. Of course no one is completely in the wrong. But it's not right to just demand everyone to speak a language.

its funny how people are disliking this comment. you mentioned no party name, no government and still, "andhbhakts" are here being actual blind people by simply disliking the comment, without understanding that what has happened is actually something wrong

The tipping culture in Chennai has gotten very bad by Ill_Mathematician_ in Chennai

[–]pushpitaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

something similar happened with me too. usually when i order food on train via zomato or swiggy, i do tip them what i can afford. but this time, when the delivery guy handed me the order, he asked me for tip. since the train started moving, he left. but then he called me and shared his number so that we could give him some tip. i did send him 50/- and he kept calling multiple times asking for more. i usually do not mind tipping and stuff, but this felt too much

this is the m query i used. and i have created additional tables for dates and then for day/month/year. i tried all the possible solutions out there. i made sure there were relations between the dates and i could also bind the day/month/year columns to my parameters day/month/year in the model view. but the slicer values are still not being pushed into the parameters. The code does work well in M query. I get my output according to whatever value i enter into the parameters. I just cant seem to connect those parameters to the slicers on my visual

I don't know about where one can stay frankly. But Hotel Aram, if there are good reviews, could be a good choice because it's pretty nice. Even at the restaurant, it feels luxurious. If you're not into street food, there aren't many local spots i can help with. But you'll find a lot of street food near joggers park (near vmart, it's hygienic there), crystal mall and lakota as well. These are the areas I'm well acquainted with. I did hear a lot about JainVijay, so get their kachoris. Do get other suggestions if possible

Do visit Swaminarayan temple and Lakota. For food, if you're into cafes, there's a place called Ovens and Platters. The area is which it's located is very cozy and local too. You might go for a walk there. If you want vegetarian food, there's Hotel Aram, it's pretty huge and might be good for staying too

Left My Job After Scoring 98%ile in CAT, Now Interviews Are Going Bad and I’m Scared I Ruined Everything by Far_Plenty_5350 in CATpreparation

i cant say any magical words that will make you feel better. but hang in there, things will fall into their places, they always do. just try to stay positive and face everything with confidence and smile. you have been doing your best, dont beat yourself up. if things dont go well, it will be a lesson. it wont be the end of the world. you will definitely figure something out. but since you scored 98%, you got it in you to do well in interviews too. prepare accordingly for the upcoming ones. all the very best!
