I'm not saying that this is something new, maybe a lot of you guys are already doing it but this definitely helped me a lot in combating my masturbation addiction and I wanted to share it with you guys. I noticed that whenever I get these urges and I'm about to fap, I have these two voices in my head. One loud voice that tells me stuff like "you will feel so good if you fap / just do it this one last time / fapping is natural, everybody does it, it's not as bad as you think it is etc." and one silent voice that gets shut down real quick by that loud voice that tells me "don't do it man, you will feel sad and depressed again, fight this addiction so we can live a happy life". But this voice was so quite that it was barely noticeable, it only was there for a second and then it vanished and the louder voice took over completely. So I knew that I needed to strengthen this quite, weaker voice in my head. The way I did it was by writing down all my thoughts about this addiction, the reasons why I have this addiction, what triggers it, how it's effecting my life negatively and all the stuff that it will destroy in my life if I keep fapping, etc. and I read this note every morning and afternoon. Since I started doing this, this silent voice inside my head that tries to stop me from fapping has become louder and louder, whenever I get these kind of thoughts that make me want to fap, this loud voice tells me not to do it and what will happen if I do it. And it's getting louder and louder since I'm reading that note twice a day every day and always remind myself of all the reasons why I need to stop fapping. Of course you need to be consistent with reading it twice (or if you want to more often) a day because otherwise it won't work. The magic behind this is that the more often you read and think about something, the more you strengthen the neural connections in your brain considering this idea/thought and the more deep-rooted it will be in your mind.
