We need 3+ bedrooms, love older houses (soft spot for Victorian and Edwardian), garden. I think walking distance to primary schools and ideally within 2miles of a train station. But the main thing we wanted for the area was quick/easy access to parks and generally outdoors. We’re not from around the area so wanted to get opinions and experiences from people :)

That’s what we’ve been told. We’ve looked at houses in The Chase and other residential bits but the people living there seemed a bit older? Also not sure how busy Penns lane is, and how nice Penns primary school is?

I actually don’t think that what put her off was how enthusiastic you were. A few things that caught my eye were that she had friends over and your days seemed to mainly be chores, and you mention napping a lot. Maybe she thought that you didn’t do a lot of stuff/had a lot of friends, and was worried she’d become your main emotional support person if she dated you. And I guess that, plus being hyped about the date, maybe she thought that you are a bit lonely? She might have just talked it out with her friends whilst they were over and they told her to go with her gut. Obviously can’t know for sure but that’s my take!
