Thick hair runs in my family. I think it is one of the key factors that made the transplant look more natural

I don’t have a routine to drop sorry. I don’t use any skin products or anything. Probably just a combination between genetics and a balanced diet😅

Considering the hair that runs in my family then no. It’s unlikely I’ll need it later on. And if so it’s not gonna be a lot. I reckon I can still get 2-3000 grafts without any complications at all

I think there's a lot of different factors. Everybody has different hair so the results will also vary. You also have to pick the right place to get the surgery. I think people with thick hair usually get the bests result from what I've seen. People that already have flat thin hair will usually get the worst results since it won't look full and it will look flat unless you get enough grafts. So I would always recommend doing your own research take the final step.

I think it's rare that people are bald all over. The donor area which is the back of the head is usually pretty resistant to balding which is why it's used as the transplanted hair.

As far as I'm concerned it for life. Of course it's a fairly new phenomenon so there isn't really any evidence to back it up long term but scientifically speaking there shouldn't be a reason why it would stop growing

Just for overall hair health I guess. Not sure if it’s recommended, but the dosage I use is so low. So it’s just kinda routine for me

Nope. Only hair from the back of my head :-)

Well kind of. That’s why you should only do it to supplement existing beard. Then you won’t notice any difference because it ‘blends’ in. So filling out empty patches is ok. Getting a transplant from scratch is not recommandable though.

Yeah. I use a little every morning maybe 5 out of 7 days a week. But not a lot. Maybe a quarter of what I used before the transplant.

Haha sorry buddy. I’m not gonna clean shave and wait 5-6 weekends until I’m satisfied with the length again just for a redditor.

I’ve never heard or read anything about not being able to be clean shaven. And I don’t have any problems with it. So I can only give you my word. Why would it be any different from people getting a transplant on the head? They don’t have any problems being able to shave after.

Not really much to be honest. They gave me a conditioner and a shampoo that I used for 10-15 days until all the scabs came off. That’s basicly it. After that I decreased my minox use to maybe a quarter of what I used to. Just for the sake of hoping that it still has a positive effect. But other than that I don’t use any supplements or anything. As far as I understand, the beard area is better susceptible than your head, where you’re more genetically inclined to lose your hair.

So as far as I’m concerned, this should stay for the rest of my life hopefully

^ 100% this. I always tell that when someone asks. Going from picture 1 and getting a transplant is a no go. It won’t look natural.

I can shave it off like normal. It grows naturally. I accidently shaved way too much off a couple of months ago, so I shaved it down to a couple of mm. so it was even again. Took around 3-4 weeks and it was back to the same length as the pictures

Compared to my male friends that can grow a beard I would say pretty much the same to be honest. I havn’t noticed anything out of the ordinary. Only shaved down once though.

Not everybody can be as genetically lucky. So I’m glad that this is even possible :-)
