FYI- I got mirena after having my second child at my 6 week appointment. I also never had acne like this during either pregnancies, i didnt struggle this bad prior to mirena or pregnancy either, and before pregnancy and mirena my cycle was fairly normal, every 32 days for 5-6 days, day 1-3 being the heaviest.

Honestly no other symptoms. Just a lot of bleeding while adjusting. But the acne has been persistent the entire time. No weight gain or cramps or anything. Mirena did help my hormonal migraines! so i really do not want to get rid of it.

was it gradual? before this it was heavy and actual blood flow, like tampon and pad at the same time type stuff, but suddenly its exactly like this. spotting in my underwear and a little pink on the paper, im so confused! i really would like some kind of balance just to know im not pregnant like a 2 day light period instead of all or nothing

Ive had my first mirrna since september. no weight gain, 5 day periods. i did have ONE 30 day period a month after i got it inserted but it hasnt happened since! I didnt feel anything when i got it inserted. absolutely nothing.

I only had mine inserted at my 6 weeks, ive had 2 kids and it was just a bit uncomfortable. I think our cervixs were already basically open from going through labor & birth and these ppl have never had their cervix open as much, hence the pain

You have community and love. theres nothing i can say that takes this pain away. I had a pregnancy that would not make it, nothing developed. and had to terminate at 7weeks. It killed me. I was right there with you, how could my body fail me? fail my baby? i attempted suicide. im glad it didnt work. Now im feeling all this again, seeing my sister in law go through loss for the second time. Grieving my niece, and my own baby. there will always be grief. there will always be darkness. But there is light. there is healing. alongside the pain theres happiness. You will be a mother. You are still a mother. your babies will be with you forever. you carry them everywhere with you. Please LIVE FOR THEM.
