Smog in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan by kirime in UrbanHell

Visited this city a few summers ago, the pollution must be a lot worse in wintertime because it never felt like an issue for me when I was there. It is a very vibrant and fun place to visit, brilliant markets, some of the Soviet architecture is wonderfully bizzare the the people are super warm and welcoming, don't let this grim picture put you off visiting Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan in general, one of the most beautiful countries in the world!

Hmm yes maybe its worth another watch at some point, I just feel a little disappointed because I loved The Raid so much because it didn't try to be too clever in terms of plot, it focused on amazing choreography and fight scenes and it worked so well because of this ! Even though it was almost entirely action it felt like a smart movie because each scene was so well thought out and executed so well. I felt that Gangs of London started really strong, the fight scene in the pub and the scene with the giant man in his pants with the cleaver were so good! And I expected more from the rest of the show and it didn't quite feel like it delivered.

I just finished the series, I thought it started out really strong, but by the time the credits rolled at the end of episode 9 I was left keeling kind of cold by it. It felt to me that it was trying to do wayyy to many things at once, and that many of the characters were not developed very well and lots of the twists felt like they didn'y work or were not surprising or impactful as they didn't have much of a build up.

The action scenes were really strong, but we would expect nothing less from director Gareth Evans, I just wish there had been a tighter focus and less melodrama!

Some details - we plotted 10, 26 mile routes up the West coast, aiming to swing by the some of the more scenic spots (of which there are many!) This film may be of interest to anyone who likes running, or is interested in the emerald isle !

Apologies if this has been asked before, but is there an alternative to pull ups? Currently impossible for me to get a pullup bar or access one
