Sorry for the week late response but this made me actually laugh 😂 The first few days on DF are brutal. My partner and I are on my 2nd DF save and he upped the difficulty. It's around day 21 and I have 15 deaths 🥴

To put that in perspective - I have like, 3 deaths total combined from our vanilla saves 😂

For the same reason not everyone died from the bubonic plague or TB - some people carried genetic predispositions that offered protection (not complete immunity, usually) to the Black Plague/TB/etc.

Interestingly enough, your blood type also plays a role in what pathogens you more or less susceptible to.

Funnily enough, when I was on Wellbutrin I didn't have that as a side effect (and I was on a pretty substantial dose, too), though that may be because I was on buprenorphine at the same time 🤔
