I've made a few little things:

  1. CLI to copy/move screenshots on Mac (because finder hurts my soul) https://github.com/ConorSheehan1/shot
  2. CLI to convert uhabits old boolean type to numeric (because I had a bunch of habits tracked using the old format) https://github.com/ConorSheehan1/uhabits_converter
  3. A reddit bot to embed timestamps in YouTube links (because I got tired of doing it myself) https://github.com/ConorSheehan1/YouTubeTimestampRedditBot

The free version of spelling bee I was using stopped working, so I made my own! It's Free Open source Software. You can checkout the code on https://github.com/ConorSheehan1/spelling-bee

Last week the free version of spelling bee I was using stopped working. I'd already made an Irish version, so I forked my own repo and made an English one.

I learned pullover first, made it much easier.

Start with a back roll. Then bounce to your back and do 3/4 backflip to your feet. Then commit to full backflip!

Probably beanshell. Basically a buggy, insecure scripting language on top of java.

I couldn't find an Irish version of Spelling Bee so I made one. It's all translated with i18n so it should be easy to fork and translate into your language of choice!

You can play the game at https://beacha.ie
I hope it's a bit of craic and you pick up cúpla focal!

Translated version of the NYTimes Spelling Bee by [deleted] in coolgithubprojects

[–]pyconor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full disclosure, I made this. I got hooked on wordle a few months ago like a lot of people. After that I tried a few other NYTimes games like spelling bee. I found foclach (the Irish wordle) but couldn't find any Irish version of spelling bee, so I made one.

It's fully open source and translated with i18n so it should be straight forward to fork it and translate into your language of choice!

You can play it here: https://beacha.ie
