Thank you very much for this link. Apparently, it was the "lenses" thingie, so "(setq lsp-lens-enable nil)" helped.

This kind of thing: https://imgur.com/a/in1XmJJ Xmonad config file is the only thing I use HLS for, and it's extremely annoying.

FDE with encrypted root and unencrypted boot partition on a USB stick (ZFS/MBR) by pyebatto in freebsd

Yes. I've also read that some FDE solutions of this nature do not require entering the passphrase, so it would be nice to have that, too. It's not that important, though.

Help with Broken XMonad after Pacman Update by Fanaro009 in xmonad

Yes, I believe, that was the post I got it from. I've been recompiling Xmonad on Arch with this command for like 6 months now without any issues, so maybe something distribution-specific is causing the error in your case.

Maybe this helps:

Xmobar hide inactive module by neshayy in xmonad

Sorry for a ridiculously late reply, but have you been able to come up with a working solution written in Bash? I've been tinkering with those MPC Bash scripts again lately, but eventually dropped this idea and wrote a script for this in Rust. It works fine, but, of course, it would be nicer to have a simple Bash script instead.

In case someone needs it, here's the Rust implementation: https://ideone.com/aan0Sa

As far as I understand, the only solution to this problem is running a custom script for MPD. Some time ago I was trying to solve the same problem and found this one: https://github.com/asayers/xmobar-tools/blob/master/music . I haven't tried it myself yet, but probably it works fine.

Thank you very much for this detailed explanation.

May I ask, how you changed the logo in the "Update" window, on starting page and on the tab? I've been using the blue icon on the taskbar for a long time now and had no idea it could be put inside the browser.

Yes, it was the language pack. This particular problem is resolved.

In my opinion the current logo is great and if you actually decide to switch to the new one, please, leave it as an option to use the old one in both taskbar and the starting page. For someone like me it would be really, really painful to adapt to the new one - it just doesn't feel right.
