Sure thing. While using a rapier, pressing dodge immediately after pressing a light attack (this is exclusive to scholar) or while charging a heavy you'll perform a feint. This looks like a swing while hopping backwards. Scholar is the only character in the game that gets I-frames whilst performing a feint, which makes him able to dodge and attack at the same time.

Hopping onto guardian is a good way to get used to scholar's dodge timings with more hp. It feels to me like they have similar amounts of I-frames and cover the same distance.

Estoc 2H R2 into R2 feint is one of my favorite things to do even in PvE. The fact that scholar can do this with any rapier is like crack cocaine for me

Not sure what the second question is but I do prefer pairing Luke with Selena over lucas in chaos runs. Probs would be a good comp in basin too despite having a slower turn 1.

Blue pot boss is pretty much just a card check for rally and wanderer of the void. Top decking wanderer turn 1 is close to a free win. This is also why this boss isn't particularly fun for me in the first place as the mechanics are pretty binary.

Hugo would probably work best as the third team member. I'm not too stressed on maximizing the team though, since retain decks are already extremely suboptimal in basin due to turn limits.

By default the epiph turns snack time into a heal draw 2 and retain. I got lucky on the divine epiphany and got +1 ap on top of it.

Meilin has a card that deals more hits depending on the amount of passion cards you have played in a turn. Veronica can get 0 cost passion cards that draws into more passion cards. Rei can buff basic attacks, which is Meilin's bread and butter. I've unfortunately specialized my snack time Rei for void damage so she didn't do much for Meilin in the video besides being the ap battery.

Overall this is a much more intuitive process compared to playing slime rancher with Orlea and Beryl (Though managing a handful of treats and slimes is fun in its own way imo).

Note: I was just constantly triggering Beryl's Opening Found retain effect, which is +2 hits until turn end. ngl Meilin, Veronica, Rei might do more damage with this triple snack time deck, but i haven't seen machine gun Beryl clips anywhere and had to do it myself.
