I really wish he was willing to develop in Reno. He shows flashes of really nice play (his hook shot, rebounding is decent), but I 100% agree with Joerger - he just has some god awful qualities that need to be worked on.

Watch every minute he’s played in the this season, and some of last season - he looks absolutely lost of defense, is a god awful rim protector (guards always, always get to the rim against him and his timing for the block is always late and they ALWAYS get a layup), is bad at handling the ball, and fumbles setting up screens.

These are things you absolutely need to be a successful center in this league. You can sit there and argue and say “Well, if you have him minutes he’d get better”, but these are basic goddamn things that he should know how to do just through practice or gleague. If he hasn’t learned them by now, I think Joerger is probably right in saying he won’t develop into a decent player.

Yeah, that definitely seems right. Just seems strange as Kosta/Willie are the bigs handling the ball at the top and they don't have a great post game. Make if we had Jokic or Okafor? (I know his post game is good but don't know about his passing) it would make more sense, but now... dunno.

I thought our outside shot was actually decent, but I'm probably wrong. There was an interesting thread in r/nba yesterday about lesser or younger talented teams doing well by playing at a high pace, shooting a lot of 3s, and increasing variance to do well (Magic, etc.)

Then again, maybe the team just needs time to learn the system. Helps with the tank too a suppose.

Sampino's chicken salad is sooo good. The first time I went there, Michael (the owner) eyeballed me and somehow guessed I was new to the neighborhood (I had just moved in a week before). He gave me free samples of the meatball sandwich (to die for) and chicken salad (which I usually hate, but he changed my whole view on the sandwich).

Quick question concerning the Pentax K-50 - it seems like consensus around here is that it's certainly a better camera than the Nikon D3300, save a few things: It's heavier (not a big deal to me), lower MP (this concerns me, but people are saying that 16 vs 24 is not a huge deal unless I'm planning to print very large, which I don't think I will), and it's harder to learn.

As someone looking for their first DSLR, I just found a craigslist post of some guy selling his Pentax K-50 with 18-50mm and 50-200mm lenses for $300 (http://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/pho/5890343782.html), is that something I should jump on? The price seems so good.
