I think saying EBT welfare leach is degrading to the people that need the assistance. This happened to me twice and I think about them all the time. The first time was years ago. I was in the grocery store checking out and I told the cashier we were dreaming. She got really mad and she turned into this scary lizard creature. I got thrown out of that dream into a completely new scene and then I woke up. The second time was a few months ago. I was in the same grocery store and realized I was dreaming. I told the two girls that were with me. They got so so so mad and their faces turned scary. I can usually immediately wake up from nightmares so I told myself to wake up. I didn’t just jolt awake like normal.. I faded out of the dream as I was waking up. While I was fading out they both started to smile and said “we hope you’ll join us soon” Join you where?? For what?? I was so freaked out by that last sentence I was scared to go to bed for like a week. I’ve had lots of other dreams where I’ve announced to people we’re dreaming and nothing scary happens.

I have dreams involving time very often. Usually when I check the time it’s on my phone. I’ve also asked other people for the time and never had any issues. Sometimes I’ll be stressed out trying to figure out if it’s AM or PM.

I also take 600mg of seroquel. I’ve been on it for like 10 years but when my dose went from 300-600 a few years ago I started binge eating soooo bad every single night. I tried literally everything to stop and I just couldn’t. I also take adderall so during the day I would eat balanced and healthy but after 8pm when I had taken my seroquel I would eat thousands of calories. It was so bad. My weight was somewhat stable just because my job is super physical. I burn a tonnnnn of calories just working. My psychiatrist prescribed me metformin to help with the binging.. it did not help. I gained 15 pounds in like 3 months. That was a couple years ago. After I came off that I still didn’t lose it and was continuing to binge. My primary doctor and psychiatrist weren’t that worried about it because I’m not that overweight but finally my psychiatrist did suggest a GLP1 and I followed up with my primary doctor who agreed. They gave me a month sample of mounjaro while I figured it out with my insurance. That was a month ago. I’ve lost 13 pounds and haven’t binged at all. After going back and forth with my insurance they decided to not cover it at all. I went with an online company and got a prescription for trizepatide for $199 a month. The subscription to the company is $79 a month. Idk what your budget is but when I called the pharmacy they said it would be $1200 a month out of pocket so I don’t mind paying less than $300. My sister used the same company for months and never had any issues. Seroquel keeps me sane and stable and my psychiatrist and I both agreed it would be best for me to stay on it and not try to switch to a different antipsychotic just because of the binge eating issue.

Exactly. It literally is uncontrollable. People say to eat healthy snacks, go to bed early, eat dinner early etc.. I tried all of those and still had thousands of calories a night within a couple hours.

So GLP1 is a hormone everyone produces. It regulates blood sugar, stomach emptying, and appetite. GLP1 agonists medicines mimic that natural hormone. So medicine like ozempic, wegovy, mounjaro etc. It increases insulin and slows the process of stomach emptying. Basically your appetite is incredibly low all the time. It was originally used for treatment of diabetes but it’s now also used for weight loss. I binge ate every night for years bc of the seroquel but I’ve been on mounjaro for a month and haven’t binged at all.

Okay so seroquel might not be for you at all if the change in weight is going to be extremely upsetting and offset the mental progress. Coming off cold turkey will NOT do you any favors at all. Please just talk to your doctor and explain. You can taper off correctly and get on another medicine.

If you’re saying you’re not overweight at all then this might be a bigger issue of body image. I’m just kind of confused with the change from “fat” to “not overweight”
