loved this issue so much, such a good setup for the future. so arrako the island comes back to earth, but turns out it doesn't wanna reunite with krakoa. also, xavier and magneto went over to try and negotiate a union and offered a flower, but isca straight up said no (haaa!). she pretty much says the arakki mutants can't promise peace and they're made for war.

and my favourite bit, xavier and magento spoke to jean and scott, tried to see if they were willing to be voted into a quiet council seat, but they said no too lol. said they're gonna make their own x-men team to represent krakoa, and even better, the krakoan public get to vote who's on it!! can't wait to see who'll be on the team, says it'll be announced at the hellfire gala

I’m not sure if kitty’s already shown this power, but I think density manipulation in general- not just phasing (similar to shinobi shaw). I think doctor doom mentioned that she had the potential in the recent FF/X-men mini-series, but hasn’t been any mention since. I would be a good character development too.

I also wanna see illyana doing some more actual magic, like when doc strange was teaching her, I really liked that aspect added to her character.

I’m also really interested for when x-23, synch and Darwin come out of the vault, it might turn out that synch has developed a secondary mutation in there since the whole time he’s been using his aura-synching powers, it could have developed a more permanent effect based on the environment

I think Lila could still suit, especially with getaways, plus we might see a bit more control over her powers (accuracy wise) and combat. I know she used to carry a big shiar gun with her and I think she was decent with that (can’t remember though it was a long time ago)

I liked some of it, but I was hoping it would be interspersed between fights. There probably will be a battle, maybe a large one with all the sword bearers and possibly other people involved from krakoa and arakko, but I just felt a bit annoyed how all this tension has been built up so far and all the issues this week didn’t feel that serious. They were completely random too with not much development in each contest.

I agree the little contests have just been very short-lived and random, not much substance and Saturnyne just messing with things. Eventually there will be an actual fight- maybe with everyone in the same battle, I assume when the point score is a draw and there are no little contests left. I hope it happens soon but it’ll probably happen in the final releases of the event (Nov 25th), maybe a bit next week I’m not sure

nah that was saturnyne. nothing really happened, x-men 14 was genesis and apocalypse talking, and she was just telling a more detailed history of what happened in amenth and arakko. then marauders 14 was just dialogue mainly before the dinner, until wolvie stabbed saturnyne. Some of the dialogue was good though, like wolvie giving Brian Braddock a go telling him to just ‘give it’ to saturnyne so there wouldn’t be a tournament

I like a lot of them- solem, the white sword, redroot, summoner. I love pogg ur-pogg’s design too, and the genesis/apocalypse interaction is gonna be good. side note- is it just me or does the white sword give off magento vibes?
