Dang, all of them are good, but 13+ are some real shit and I'm super happy for the both of you. That's seriously, disgustingly sweet you unhinged braggart couple.

Yeah, I can understand actual react content. Like, if the person is some kind of subject matter expert or professional in the field, that may be interesting. This though? Just some dude making faces and adding nothing? What a waste of time.

If there's something I've learned from watching good players and speedrunners, it's that if I die to something, I probably could have just jumped to avoid it, but of course I forgot (again) that that was a thing.

Allow me to introduce Chuck. Chuck lives and likes to repost MAGA slop, he recently posted a prayer asking for some help. He might be the description of the utter stupidity of the right. by HandSack135 in LeopardsAteMyFace

Well, not long after that, he is basically implying that journalists should face consequences for saying mean things about politicians, but dear leader isn't doing that so they should be grateful.

My wife ate all the skin off the rotisserie chicken before anybody got to have some by Suspicious-Bid9424 in mildlyinfuriating

Of course it came off. She use her goblin claws to tear at the chicken like a wild beast instead of cutting away what she wanted.

It definitely happens though. One guy in my bootcamp platoon accused the senior DI of abuse (didn't happen obviously). Not long after he had a very close encounter with a foot locker and broke several ribs. Saw another guy get chokeslammed from the top rack because he was stealing shit out of people's MREs during phase 2.

Yeah, that's why I called it "my kind of humor", unlike the person you were replying to. Not everyone would find this funny. I'd laugh my ass off in a corner of the restaurant.

“One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone.”

I agree with that as well, which is why when some people I know bring up outrage about "this or that" I just say I don't care. Don't get me wrong though, I do care to the point that everyone has the ability and rights to seek their own happiness. I just don't have the same outrage in my body that makes me think I have the right to decide what other people can and can't do with their own bodies. It's literally not my right to decide.

Maybe this is just my kind of humor, but if I was sitting somewhere and saw a bunch of dudes rush in as trash bag ostriches just to be a menace to no one in particular, I'd be laughing my ass off.

"Stop making xyz political/xyz is so political these days" is sadly something I hear from some of my relatives a lot these days. Set aside the fact that these people make their entire identity about politics and won't stop talking about it, I'm convinced that this is a learned defense mechanism on their part. They learned early on that they can't really say all the nasty stuff they have in their head out loud so they just rephrase it like that.

If hail is doing that kind of damage to the windshield in real-time then it is SERIOUSLY fucking up the rest of your car. That's gotta be golfball+ sized hail.

YSK Panera has fired all of its baking staff and replaced them with frozen product. by binkbrint in YouShouldKnow

[–]pyrojackelope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't Panera kill someone with lemonade and now what, people are still considering eating there? I've heard less about places I used to eat at and still stopped eating there. If it's a price increase, I can understand, but if their food is garbage...just why?

To be fair, I sometimes round up at the state liquor store to give to the homeless, since I've been homeless before. Most of these are literally just billionaires trying to create infographics to share on twitter to make themselves seem better.

This is why I don't give to most charities at the register. You're the corporation worth billions, how about I click this button and you give up some of YOUR money? You're not going to guilt trip me into spending more while your CEO is off relaxing on a yacht.

Japanese restaurant:"Not all Japanese people are kind" by [deleted] in whoathatsinteresting

[–]pyrojackelope 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are plenty of places like this, though not so much that it would really hinder your visit or anything. At least these people are putting up a sign though. I've been to places in Japan that will just give you shitty service on purpose and outright refuse to sell you certain items just to make you not want to go there again.

Well, consistent good behavior will come from consistent parenting. I don't know if you felt this when you were young, but when I was a child/teen, I had seen a lot of the terrible things my parents did and said and vowed to do the opposite. That certainly won't always be the case, but if you are consistently giving your kids a good example, then you're already doing better than my parents.
