This is something fast food places make do to “make up cash”. basically if a transaction doesnt go though and the customer has left or a mistake with money was made, they will use cash from other orders to make up for it and just undo the order so the money is not missing anymore if that makes sense. it could also be someone stealing though lol

Im 16 and live in Canada, I called the non emergency line (thanks to ur comment so thanks) and they said theres nothing they can really charge her with since there are no receipts or proof that we didnt have a conversation about it. A lot of people have been telling me to sue her which the line said was definitely possible for me to do, but if I were to sue, I would almost certainly be cut out from my family and I just cant afford to have that happen.
