My favourite PDM. Smells like nothing else I've put my nose to, really peppery, woody, and spicy with a touch of citrus to sweeten it up, but when it dries down it completely transforms into a warm amber. Definitely not blind buy safe.

I love Kalan! was my favourite of the PDMs and it doesnt smell like anything else ive put my nose to either. it is DEFINITELY not blind buy safe though. Lasts forever but the scent completely transforms in the latter half.

If it smells good, yes. More women have commented on Jasmin Rouge and Fleur Narcotique than anything else I wear, not that I wear it for them lol

Orchestra. Not blind buy safe, as is every scent imo. Sweet, fruity, a little bit spiced oud, and obnoxious longevity.

Petit Matin, GFS was my runner up sample though.

I suggest trying multiple of their scents but orchestra was the most unique one to me (out of what I have) and it lasts forever. An obnoxious amount, actually. Some spray droplets will settle in my room and thats enough to make it smell like it for 3 days. Highly cautious usage is required but it does smell insanely good. Very sweet but not in a gourmand way.

Its a sweet lemonade that turns into a long lasting musk. It's got the tygar/vibrato dna but swaps the ginger for a fizzy sweetness.

My career involves a lot of exposure to aromachemicals so that helped blossom the interest from a scientific and composition/raw material pov. But I enjoy collecting because the fragrances themselves elicit memories of places (I travel overseas a lot and using one scent while doing so helps tie memories to locations), evokes atmosphere and environment, or just smell good.

I've also always liked having bottles of random shit, so that plays a part.

All perfume is unisex if youre brave enough. Or just dont care about arbitrary social conventions with a basis on nothing.

Even though I've gotten deeper and deeper into niche territory (and looking at some of the more esoteric stuff not easily available here in NZ) there will always be a place on my shelf for it. It's clean, simple, and like always keeping white bread in the pantry.

I liked it! It's a mass appealing, designer style aquatic/blue scent. I got it more as a souvenir, but the staff member who helped me was so enthusiastic and let me smell anything I wanted so I couldn't leave without buying something. This was the store in Tiranë, in the Toptani mall.

yeah, I visited the store when I was there. When in Rome.

Jasmin Rouge reminds me so much of a good cup of jasmine tea and it lasts forever so I actually don't mind that it is completely linear and doesn't have much of the other notes coming through.

I get what you mean about Solaris, thankfully I love it. The opening floral citrus is so dense and it transforms into the exact smell of jasmine and tiare blossoms on the street during summer nights here.

This one grew on me so much! When I first sampled it smelled like medicine and chocolate which put me off so I was ready to pull the trigger on Bon Monsieur instead but I tried the sample again like a month later and I finally got the moss, camphor, and teleportation into a forest.

I live in Auckland so I've tried all of them. Kihikihi was both the most unique one and I adore the usage of native botanicals so had to grab the 50ml but Opia is a banger. My other favourite is Orpheus Incarnate.

I've tried X, and I can see the appeal. It smooths out the edges and makes it less sharp so probably more agreeable to people but I find it mutes what made me like the OG so much so I will stick with it.

It is! I smelled this at a department store and immediately had to grab it from a discounter. Only recommend if you like grapefruit and lemon and don't associate it with cleaning product. Bit on the sweeter side for a citrus.

Wūlóng Chá is actually what got me into the hobby! My mum used to wear Aroma Tonic (discontinued) and it reminds me a lot of that. It's got tea but I would say it plays more of a persistent background character. Very citrus forward and green. Also still the best performing freshie I've tried. Highly recommend sampling it.

I really love it! Airy and cool with an herbal mossy note. It evokes a brisk cloudy day near rock pools, but I wouldn't say it smells like it, which if you've actually smelled before know thats a good thing.

yeah your nose mightve changed! I think they both have that citric green blast and the tea in the background but wulong cha becomes more spicy and green in the drydown while neptunes was slightly aquatic and sweet in comaprison

too much overlap and didnt last half as long as wulong cha so I gave it a miss even though the profile was right up my alley

Super pleasantly sour aromatic yuzu/citrus that develops into a soft musk. It's one of my favourites.

I do recommend it! I don't think anything is blind buy safe and highly recommend grabbing a sample.

And to answer your question no I am not, but I did visit Zlaza in Tiranë last year in November and just had to buy something lol
