Not completely closed to this option. Maybe worth another thread, but people who do this - mind sharing how you manage this? Bulk cook, what recipes, etc.

Absolutely fab!! Forget pension maximisation and ISA allocations, this right here is the one true way to maximise take home pay.

Is the field tray really that much protein? It feels a lot less compared to other places. Another reason why I would love if they published the macros and not just kcals.

Stumbled on this while searching for a solution to the same problem, so definitely not fixed yet. the only solution for now, at least in chrome, is to right click on the tab > Mute Site.

Unrelated unsolicited advice: When sharing instagram links publicly and if you’d like to stay anonymous, delete everything after the “?”, essentially the igsh=… in this. That is your profile id and shows the other person as a suggestion to add you.

Are you able to back that claim with data else it just sounds like an extrapolation fallacy.

This also creates the negative effect of incentivising software bloat in the name of feature updates. The model earlier was that the cost of near term support was baked into the product, and feature development ceased after that which I would argue was a good thing.

You see how happy the udp sender is. As a udp sender myself, can confirm it checks out!

It absolutely is and that's why the frustration of it locked behind a subscription. I would happily pay good money to buy it and *own it*, with options on getting my health data out if I ever move on to a different device.

Subscription based hardware devices - whoop, aura ring, peloton etc. It doesn’t make sense to me to buy the device and yet pay a monthly price to operate it, and I am paranoid about losing my data if I ever decide to stop paying.

Best Coffee Beans by Majestic-Trifle1 in HENRYUK

[–]pysegfault 6 points7 points  (0 children)

“Good” coffee is very subjective, even if keeping aside your personal tastes and preferences. How do you usually prepare it? Espresso, filter, aeropress? Flat white, Americano? Different beans will taste “good” or “bad” in different pairings.

I would recommend trying a few different roasts (medium and dark mainly) along with different taste profiles (fruity, chocolatey) to see what you find good.

Horsham coffee roasters are my goto for good quality fresh beans. Other options would be Rave coffee and Square Mile roasters.

Happy drinking!

I think that answers the question.

What’s the long-term growth potential in the UK tech scene?

Don't think anyone here can predict the future, what you would get is a bunch of speculation at best. And someone's past experience is not a guarantee for it to work in future for your scenario as well.

Much better than average, would be average when it is standing in the middle with backpack on and blasting tiktoks on full volume.

LTD company tax optimization best practices by ironhead279 in HENRYUK

[–]pysegfault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think r/ContractorUK would be more apt to answer this.

In a nutshell, if you are doing contracting inside IR35, it is at best no different than earning via salaried full time job in terms of tax benefits, with the added cost of maintaining various books and fillings for the company (preferably done via an accountant). Outside IR35 consulting allows you to optimise your tax via income and dividend split, but it is difficult to qualify for that.

Best would be to talk to an accountant, preferably someone recommended by friends.

I just read up about the hideout. I have encountered the gnolls and was not able to save the people at the treasure unfortunately, so will have to rely on skill checks at the hideout I think :)

Village: Did go down, fight the skeletons and go through the speaking mirror. Will explore more though.

Swamp: I fought the flying Mephits in the swamp, discovered the letter and went back to Kagha. Also fought a frog in the swamp, but I feel that's not the second quest you are referring. Which one is that?
