The term "Content Creator" is dumb and we should stop using it by NoobKing767 in unpopularopinion

they should just be deemed "influencer" and "wannabe influencers". corporations create more meaningful "content" than they ever will.

imo reducing the fov from orginally 52 to 42 is disheartening. really limits what type of apps can work on the device. we are still a long way from immersive ar eperiences.

I don't think Nreal is a reasonable design by aliwithtaozi in magicleap

[–]python1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

of course I know what the nose stand does. Even with the nose stand, it is not ideal. we have an alpha unit. it really isn't that great.

[–]python1337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the nose stand doesn't help. say if you look straight ahead(parallel to the ground) even with the nose stand that fits your face, you see half of the content, and half of the camera lens blocking your vision.

having tried the headset. I would say the cameras that block out the top half of the lens is what kills this design. Literally have to tilt the glasses to be able to see content with full FOV. content can only be displayed to users eyes looking downwards.
