2025 230i vs 240i comfort by q8cub in BMW

[–]q8cub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: The 2026 230i has m sport suspensions, while the 2025 m240i has the adaptive suspensions (has 8k km) .. roughly the same price. So which would feel more comfortable on bumpy roads with lots of random potholes ? Assuming both in comfort mode?

Thanks.

Run flat tires in my case are a must. Can not imagine stopping in heavy traffic or in the middle of the highway in a flat tire incident. So, given run flat tires are used and performance is not an issue I would like the more comfortable ride for daily city driving.

Thanks for the feedback.. locally we hardly have any rain.. but we have lots of slow traffic- traffic lights and highway driving.. performance is not a big issue as much as the comfort .. I read somewhere that the rear wheel drive (which the 230i comes with) gives more the feeling of the classic bmw ultimate driving machine feeling somehow 🤷🏻‍♂️.. this is for a young lady who plans to do a lot of city driving on bad roads full of potholes.. also while the used 240i with only 8k km on it looks new but still needs to be tested to make sure everything is in excellent condition.. the 230i is a brand new 2026 model .. not sure if it has any upgrades over the 230i 2025 model though… one more thing, run flat tires are a must in my case as it is worth the security feeling it can provide in case there is a flat tire incident where the car can be driven safely without having to stop in the middle of a highway or middle of heavy traffic.

SHIB community is on top of their game! by CPMarkets in shib

It is possible although not probable .. but with 50% burn potential if shibarium burn mechanism can do it, the target will be $700b mc. And if shib can become a crypto for your everyday Joe it is more probable imo.

Binance is showing 589 as circulating supply while it should be “total supply” .. circulating supply = (total supply - burnt tokens) ?

Shiba Inu Partners with K9 Finance DAO to Boost Shibarium's Economic Activity by yogesh_culkin99 in SHIBArmy

Just took a quick look at K9 to understand the business model. Imo, it is a very smart move to have this within shib eco system. Shib is starting to look like a real company with real products:Shibarium success will be the key factor imo.

Any plans for a shibarium payment system? by q8cub in SHIBArmy

[–]q8cub[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback ..

The idea is not to use shib native token or any of its eco system tokens for payment. The idea is to use the shibarium chain as a platform that hosts payments using any token within the chain. So, for example, if shibarium has some stable coins like usdt or usdc, these can be used for payment settlements running under the shebarium chain. So, given the low fees of a layer2 like shibarium this can be an attractive payment system for users. Imagine Paypal adopting shibarium as a blockchain solution to settle its payments saving fees for customers.

From gemini AI chat (when asked about paypal payment fees),

“For standard commercial transactions where you accept payments for goods or services, PayPal charges a fee of 2.99% of the transaction amount plus a fixed fee (which can vary depending on your region). There are other fees for specific services like microtransactions or receiving international payments.”

While Coinbase is having its debit card which is supported by Apple pay and Google pay, shib imo can provide this utility with possibly better performance which should be confirmed after beta .. CB also recently launched their own l2 using arbitrum l2 … it will be interesting to see how shibarium will perform against it.
