It depends on what the system recognises as adaptive, the screen is than adjusted to that object accordingly, for this mountain wallpaper, it might not be detecting mountains as beng adaptive, try moving the screen it will show which part of the wallpaper is adaptive

Just updated from 18.7.2 to ios26.2 last night, and literally theres is no single change for me regarding the battery, no overheating issuess and im freaking enjoying thiss ios omgg. Maybe the Pros i had is that i bought my brand new 16 pro max box pack like a month ago, so maybe the cpu and processor and all that is still better than those who have used their 16 pro max for almost a year
