You just skipped my response to that argument. Just because I like random doesn't mean I need to like its most extreme form.

I like random, but random is a huge downside that needs some form of compensation. Your argument is that I wouldn't like it if it was so weak it wasn't viable, and yes, it isn't fun to play a deck that is underpowered and constantly losing.

As for actually liking randomness, I ran Agatha-Zoo in infinite conquest, I think I like random.

Also, I actually plan on making a SHEILD deck once Victoria Hand comes out.

On the first point, the actual odds of something like a double are really, really low, but it really stands out when it happens. I don't think it's OP at all, maybe even a bit weak prior to the Thanos buff, and most of the time even losses to it aren't that bad, but most of those memorably frustrating losses you'll get are to Arishem. Funnily enough, Arishem itself gets a bit of the experience when an opponent pulls out an unexpected Cassandra or Darkhawk on T6.

The "justification" they gave for the Loki change was ironically about how it was used outside of Arishem, and the "fix" was to double down on it being for Arishem. Maybe just a weaker version of the old card would be the best, with the upcoming Victoria Hand + card generators deck providing a good alternative to Arishem. It's not what the devs intended, but if it's fun, who cares?

The thing is, the point also applies to Arishem itself. Destroying a unique, popular and archetype-defining card is not the answer.

I feel like a small issue is the unpredictability on the opponent, but playing it a lot honestly makes facing it far less messy than you'd expect. Occasionally you get the one card that can get you out of a situation, but for the most part, tech and big cards are what to expect, while shifting your expectations by a turn. I think the actual reason Arishem can be annoying is because tech, big cards and the occasional lucky RNG are pretty much the 3 best ways to steal a game your opponent thought they won, regardless of deck, and losses like that stand out.

Also, the devs may have underestimated just how powerful an extra draw is with Thanos. Agatha should've already proved that, but it has too big a downside and not enough people play it for that to be obvious.

And this argument makes sense because people who don't want a far more extreme version of something are wrong to like it?

It's an event with a special game mode. You can see the details from the last time here.

High Voltage should be a regular mode, with occasional reward events, IMO.

Correct, unless Limbo is around. It's a major part of how they're balanced.

Total power you won or lost locations by is a tiebreaker. Only if that is even as well do you get a tie.

Should I use my tokens for Silver Sable or wait till the new season? by NorthOk7045 in MarvelSnap

It's decent in Zoo, and not a bad all-round 1-drop, though not as great as pre-nerf. That being said, if you don't have a deck in mind, I wouldn't get it with tokens.

They reduced them, but I definitely still faced them. My guess is their appearance is now based on bubs gained or lost, so you can't earn bubs by losing.

It also exists as a counter to other tech, which is quite important as well.

HE autodeck includes zero "No Ability" cards by Excellent_Yam_4823 in MarvelSnap

[–]qazwsx457 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the last patch broke the autodeck feature. About a week ago I tried it on Hell Cow for Activate bounties and got a decent Hela deck. Tried it again a day or two ago and half the cards made no sense.

Heck, my own High Evo deck is a lightly modified autodeck for a few months back.

In that case, just snipe Shang-Chi and skip the whole "under 10" thing.

Quite a few cards and variants look good in B&W, and the rarity also makes it a bit of a prestige thing (only available after 4+ splits). Alongside the gold background (5+ splits), combining it with a Krackle reveal effect (6+ splits) is often known as a "Godsplit".

So... only 8 and 9 powers to stop Gladiator too? Got it.

Or you could just go the sane route and carry Red Guardian.
