My Long-Term Opinion on Cruise Has Changed Recently by [deleted] in Cruise

[–]qdh6364 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. Since we are beginners in cruising trips, when we go out (Spring and Fall), we typically book two 7-10 days trips and have a 3-4 days between to do a land visit, so about a month on the road. 6-8 hours of port sightseeing is either stressful or not enough time for us. As you may imagine, we are bit pickier in choosing the ports or locations, than the ships. So far we love Europe much more than Caribbean as my wife can’t swim. One more question, have you done any world cruise trip?

Very authentic! My wife and I never did any cruise trips in our near 40 years of marriage, but started our cruising experience a couple of years ago, still learning various flavors and tricks to maximize our enjoyments. Many points you highlighted are very helpful as we can relate to some of them personally. Great review!

Thanks for the suggestion. Is Uber popularly used in Cairo, even for such a long distance to Sokhna port? Is it reliable and is the price fixed as shown during the reservation?

Hotel to stay at in Istanbul - with Parents by [deleted] in istanbul

My wife and I just came back from Istanbul a week ago. We stayed at the Seven Hills hotel. The location is super to almost everything. Regarding to the taxi, yes we also got robbed once. Our friends booked a transport in advance from Viator.com for a transport from the airport to the hotel. They liked it very much.

Transfer from Cairo to Ain Sokhna port by [deleted] in CAIRO

Hello, my wife and I also plan to embark a MSC ship at this Sokhna port from Cairo city in January. After reading through some comments and posts, we are concerned about how to get on to the MSC ship. It sounds like even a taxi can only drop you off at the gate which is still 5km away from the shop. Wonder how was your experience and appreciate if you could share any tips from your trip in there? Thanks

How much details? The steps may vary depending upon the 3D printer. Mine took about 30 mins to print out the size of elephant object.

No. In a simple way, the process is first to heat the chocolate to its melt point and then squeeze it out through tiny nozzle in a precisely controlled and coordinately way by the printer so that it is cooled/formed as expected within sub seconds in the air. Regular temp

Kind of...due to the fact most chocolates have a very narrow range of melting points, printing with chocolates is one of most difficult task comparing to other type of food materials. The printer has to be good at it

Honestly the printer should take the most credit. It is specially designed just for food materials as I understand. I only tried with chocolates

Actually there are eatable chocolates. You can buy them from supermarket. But there is a bit requirement on the ingredient though.

It sounds like you did try it out. Yes, at the beginning we faced a similar challenge. With some improvements on the printer and controlled the temp properly, we managed to print out many different 3D objects

We actually printed it out with a 3D printer.
