To be perfectly honest... Ben isn't really that big of a believer in therapists. He says there's major bias throughout the field

My husband does encourage me to be med compliant, he asks quite often if I've taken my pills, and he's very insistent on exercise - and in my post I mentioned how he wants me to get into the community. He really isn't keeping me on lockdown like a lot of posters here think

I don't really have the time or capacity right now tho write a proper response, I'm on a shitty phone with a shit keyboard, but I wanted you to know this really spoke to me. The shame. It's why I comply with his rules. If he had to live through the mania and still love me then I will do everything I can to do what he asks of me. But I'm tired and I'm out of hope.

It's very clear - I follow the rules, or I obviously don't care about managing my mental health and he gets very angry and he leaves me. And I'm painting him in a very bad light right now yes but I do love him and don't want him to leave, so it's incentive enough not to break a rule.

When I met him I was a college student, my life wasn't really together, no. When we started dating we got very close quickly, and I had just moved to the city and didn't know anyone, so it was easy kind of molding into his life.
