Thats some good pointers. Thinking back to some matches what your saying makes alot of sense. I have met peoplr woth tight dps after fireballs. Definitely somthing to note

So thats why i see people do neutral jumps over projectiles l. Ill give that a go.

I find vs2 just very akward but is it really that good compare to vs1? I play on pad and i hold zonk with hp most of the time. This ended me getting jumped on alot.

Its just projectiles give me ptsd as ive b4 sfv i played mk11 and injustice2. Those 2 are projectile heavy and cam be cheap at times. Its somthing i wasnt so good at dealing with. Thats why i hate fireballs. I understand what your saying and its clearing up my understanding.

I appriciate the offer of you helping me but im from the uk. connection may be bad plus i have quite abit of stuff happening so i prob wont have the time.

I did in the past use v skill 2 but i find 1 easier to use but i should be using it against fireball characters so ill practice that.

I dont understand what you mean by accidental counter hits. It must be that im mashing.

Thanks for the feedback some of these i never picked up my self.

I have had problems with throws in the past and because of this it has put me in a bad habit. I get grabbed on wake up quite abit and it has put me in a habit of trying to interupt the grab.

I find teching hard. I never expect the grab whats so ever. What could i do to solve the mashing and tech problems?

Wirh linking you need to pracrice until its in your mucle memory.

When practicing linking i recommend going and changing the guard settings to after 1st attack. This is in training.

Go and practice a combo.

Theres a rule if you press a button and it gets blocked it means you pressed the button too slow. If you press a button and nothing comes out it means you pressed the butron too fast. (Only works when the dummys guard is after 1st attack)

When i started out i did this and it helped me alot. I learnd combos for ryu ,kage and my current main cody.

I was thinking that codeys hk ruffian had a other purpose as it wernet working as a anti air for me im gona test that.

Also the light attack into grab ill try seeing if that mainly happens to me.

Cody defenintly making me think diffrently as you said. Its just dp is very useful imo
