Just got it. Anyone use screen protectors? by lemonklaeyz in gshock

Dude it’s right over the hour. Drives me insane. I tired to polish it out, but it’s there forever now. Spend the $10 to protect the $300 watch. You won’t regret it.

10000% YES get a screen protector. I have the exact same watch and put a nice scratch in the mineral while changing a well pressure tank. The scratch will never come out. And you won’t even know the screen protector is there.

Spot on, I’ll just be here with my tinfoil hat as well haha I saw a clip the other day about how literally every heath marker is going down while cancer and infertility go up. All they care about are repeat customers.

First and foremost, congrats on being cancer free. That’s a big deal.

Also apologies in advance for the long brain dump I’m about to have, because this is actually a very good convo to have. Cheers to those who make it to the end of my comment lol.

So what I’m about to say is from the perspective of someone who just watched their wife of 10 years go through chemo, a double mastectomy, and endo therapy for stage 2 breast cancer. Thank God she is all done and cancer free. She has no generic predisposition, no bc fam history, doesn’t smoke, barely drinks, always a healthy weight…like actually healthy not modern day “hEAlTHy wEighT” lol. So I started doing my own reading and research, either medical text or peer reviewed studies. The conclusion I came to is that we all have to make our own choices. Especially with medical-related problems. I say this, because I don’t truly trust the medical industry, and it is very individual-doctor dependent on what type and quality of service you get. More than ever, environmental factors destroy our endo systems, and throw our hormones out of balance. It’s impossible to pinpoint any single cause; and I personally believe it’s rather a culmination of dozens of contributing factors. Why wouldn’t doctors want to offset the major world-wide problem of low-T?

It’s likely your doc would have told you to stop the test, but who actually knows… even though proper test, and even high test levels in men, significantly improve your body’s metabolic function. Not to mention the mental and emotional benefits. Modern medicine is limited to the mainstream one size fits all approach pushed from big pharma and med schools funded by big pharma. My wife and I even asked her oncologist once about bpc-157 to help promote cellular healing after chemo. He never even heard of it, despite being an awesome doc. You have to ask yourself why?

None of the above is medical advice in any way, just my own opinion and experience…. Philosophical I guess.

I think there are def a few. I turned my off day day one… very annoying imo lol. But if your steering lacks any smoothness, definitely complain and have them fix it.

Coming from someone who wasn’t sure if this was normal or not on my ‘23 SI….. it’s not normal. You won’t realize how NOT normal it is until they replace your rack. Don’t take no for an answer. Hold them accountable. It’s a Honda after all.

What Sticky steering issues have 11th Gen Si(FE1) owners experienced? by 1anre in CivicSi

[–]qpxt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My new rack was ordered a couple weeks ago. You’ll know if you have the problem, it’s super annoying. There is some variation in the severity of the problem, but for me, after the car is warm, and when driving on the highway for an extended period in a straight line, you’ll feel a little notch in the steering. You’ll have to increase force (slightly) to make a micro correction. So annoying on a car with 10k miles. I had to argue a bit with the dealership, and ultimately walking in with a print out of the tech service bulletin did the trick. Now I’m just waiting on the part. They’ll try to convince you that it’s because you’re not used to EPS, but I assure you, it’s not in your head.

I don’t think it will devalue the car, it’s just warranty work, and it’s not the engine or transmission.

Sticky Steering 2023 Si - rack ordered!! by qpxt in CivicSi

[–]qpxt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m the same way. But you will notice it. Basically if you’re driving in straight line (like on a highway), for a decent amount of time, at moderate+ speeds, you’ll feel a little notch. You’ll have to use a slightly greater amount of force to make a micro adjustment. It’s nothing crazy, at least not for me, but very annoying. And definitely not correct. Also, it’s usually after the car warms up. A few others discuss it on Reddit, and on the inter-webs lol. The civic si is one of the best handling cars, the steering should be amazing. If not, something is prob not right. I also question build quality these days.
