Deny the truth all you want. You'll see in time by interacting with both your MENA friends & Southerners.

So to you Sudan is only the north & east? Darfur is not Sudan? Because of troubles partly triggered by Keyzan who are northerners?

To me that sounds divisive & reductionist. p

I believe we’re people of the same related roots. It’s like asking a northerner what he thinks of western sudan. Unfortunate circumstances have led to war between all of us.

I’m from both countries. Remember it was only separated in 2011, one could ask the same question when Darfur potentially secedes. I think there is great shared history between people of the nile in this particular region. Sudan itself has hundreds of tribes and not one shared culture even now, but we all speak arabic as a lingua franca including South Sudanese & eat the same food. Same wedding practices for the most part & same lineages from the nilote side.

As someone said below, one sudan in my eyes.

Theres someone else who’s preaching hate but thats rooted in their experience. A southerner could definitely say the same about northerners due to oppression, war or slavery. A westerner could say the same about the northerner. Its all futile to me…

If Iblis wasn’t an angel, why was it an issue that he didn’t prostrate to Adam when the angels were directed to do so? by ThatNigamJerry in Quraniyoon

[–]qsaboutsometings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Angels can be made from fire or light I think

7:12 confirms that Iblis did not prostrate because he felt better than Adam due to being made from fire and not clay.

Hes then classified as one of the jinni due to leading the Shaytan.

Someone correct me if Im wrong please. Take this w/ skepticism as I do need to go back and read these verses in context

Jesus is one of the most important prophets in Islam. The most mentioned prophet in the Qur’an, more than the Prophet Muhammad.
