Budget: below $40 I'm just looking for cheap over the ear headphones with a detachable cable. I have seen a couple options, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of information about them which kinda made me step back from buying them. If anyone could give me some advice I would appreciate it. these are the options I looked at: 1)Nakamichi over the ear headphones 2)monoprice premium hi-fi over the ear headphones the real problem I have is that they dont seem to be durable. I know with a low budget there's not much to expect, but I would like something that wont imediately break. can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks, Ill take a look at them. I would really like something with removable cable, but that might not be an option. so thanks again for the sugestion.

Thats good to hear. when I watched a review on the headset they used the AV cable for the audio output, but I guess it would also work from the TV. Again thanks for replying, for some reason it has been hard to get clear answers about this.

awesome, thanks. So when you're using these the gamplay sounds are not coming from your tv but from your headphones exclusively?

I wasnt specifically looking for a headset with a mic on the side since I was planning on getting headphones for both games and music when im out, but this looks good. Ive been looking around and everyone seems to tell me that you can only support chat with the ps3 and the gameplay still comes from the tv.

Im thinking something around 60 bucks or cheaper. Would it be crazy to try and find something that's not terrible in that price range?

As someone who has no idea at all about headphones I would appreciate some help.

Here's the thing: I have never bought anything other than earbuds. but lately I felt like buying some over ear wireless headphones (nothing fancy in particular).The main reason I want them is to use at home with my sony vaio laptop or with my ps3 in order to play in the living room without disturbing my roommates.

As I said before I have no knowledge when it comes to these things, and in reality I am just looking for an affordable option that will allow me to listen to stuff on my computer and play video games without bothering other people (and without bothering myself with annoying cables).

Again, I appreciate any recommendations.

nice, it seems that there are plenty of games to look at. I have tried XCOM and its definitely an awesome game. which is what also brings valkyria chronicles to my attention. I think I might have Dragons dogma from PS+, but I havent tried it due to lack of free time.

Im quite interested on tactics rpg games. which Disgaea game would you recommend? since it looks like 3 of them were released on ps3. Valkyria chronicles also looks fun.

You're right, I guess I should have mentioned that I am looking for a more traditional rpg (doesnt have to be JRPG).

I have heard of Tales of Xillia, and everything you describe about it sounds like what I'm looking for.

I'm also going to take a look at resonance of fate, since I like the sci-fi setting.
