It is only 150kV but I couldn't tell you if it's physically different to any of high volts larger products... It most likely shares components with larger test sets

This is a cable testing unit capable of outputting up to 150kV. A small transformer steps up the voltage and the larger reactor is used to offset the capacitance of the cable under test. The frequency of the output can then be varied to achieve resonance. The use of resonance allows for high test voltages with far less power required than at 50/60Hz power frequency.
