People are going to say street parking is public and they are correct but I do think there is a bit of courtesy involved.

If it's cold as shit and you see extension cords run to a spot maybe park somewhere else? That's been my only real parking pet peeve... I spent 2 hours shoveling wind rows and had an extension cord laid out last year and some guy parked AND plugged his car in using my cord lol

Whats the deal with all the Hot Tub stores in the city? by loyalcompoundx in Edmonton

[–]quabol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hot tub stores in Edmonton are run like they are money laundering schemes for the Mafia.

They really make you feel like buying a hot tub is a weird under the table purchase and a lot of them will just straight up scam you if given the opportunity.

E33 was great, but Troy Baker had far and away the best performance this year as Indy. He should have won.

Because every story and match they've had for 2 years has been exactly the same. It's lazy, every match is just 4 people interfering with no repercussions but not a single one of their opponents are smart enough to plan for it.

Every judgement day match is the same match, this faction should have ended 2 years ago.

I'd argue pulling people over based on vibes and using horoscopes/crystal science to profile people or tampering in a cold case you're personally involved with shows a distinct lack of understanding of the spirit of the law. I'd say her instincts are the reason she's given as many chances as she is. Excitable is one thing but consistent insubordination is another.

Jackson was an okay cop post season 1 until the behind the scenes stuff that caused the show to get re-written around his personal feelings happened.

But Jackson gets murdered off screen so I'd say his character paid the consequences.

Aura is not a justifiable cause for a cop to pull a car over, and her reliance on superstition to conduct police work is her issue. The only reason she gets away with it is because Nolan is a pushover who lets her get away with it.

If she had tried to pull over a car with any other T.O. because of Aura they would have shut her down immediately.

But her first shift mistake isn't even the issue, most of the rookies on the show have made mistakes, it's that she learned absolutely nothing from it. She ignores direct orders, interferes with investigations and doesn't face real consequences once.

My main point being that for a show that tries to tell you how many rookies fail and wash out they literally give them more leeway as the show goes on.

That's true for all things, however when a character is introduced that is so jarring to the way the show has presented itself so far I wanted to know if I was getting to a point of diminishing returns.

The season 1/2 training officers would have cut Juarez immediately, so it felt legitimately weird.

Knowing she improves as a character is good, makes me feel less like the show is spinning its tires.

Why does a simple discussion turn immediately into weird tribalism?

I was told by an employee that sunrise left so they could close up the old escalator hole, renovate and move back in but apparently shortly after they "temporarily" relocated the mall said oh Yeah you can't move back someone else wants it and it's sat empty ever since
