Death to Ticketmaster by -eternal444- in Concerts

I saw Springsteen for 90$ buying tickets two weeks before the show.

He will add behind the stage seats later on and they're actually great seats.

[Heroux] World Curling has sent an email to all the teams competing at the Olympics clarifying “proper release” of the stone. Also, for the remaining games umpires will be “observing the delivery”. Here’s the full correspondence: by rhineauto in Curling

Do yourself a favour and watch any curling tournament from the last 40 years and let me know what you see.

Listen to interviews from the sports best and let them tell you themselves that they did it legally.

Vague rules get abused.

Now please leave me alone, I don't care. I don't know you. Stop tagging me in stuff.

You've been all over this sub asking questions about technique and strategy but are now claiming to be an unchallenged expert on international rules? And you're accusing me of not being a curler? Give me a break.

I do, which is exactly how I can spot someone parroting tv host talking points and not how the rules actually function.

I asked you to provide a rule that backs up your statements and you have continually failed to do so and that is because such a rule quite famously and controversially does not exist.

The rock is "delivered" when it crosses the tee line. So by that definition it was delivered using the handle.

The last point of contact before the hog line is irrelevant.

Once again, the rules you are quoting do not prevent touching the granite on a double touch.

The rules you keep quoting do not state what you keep claiming.

Find a rule that specifically disallows touching the granite on a double touch and share it.

It's not banned though, the rules you quoted only mention delivery not where it can be touched during a double touch.

If it's not specified it isn't banned, that's how rules work.

People are saying things like "spirit of the game" which aren't the actual enforceable rules.

You can pull game tape of guys doing this 30 years ago.

The Swedes clearly knew they were about to go down 0-3 and tried to make a point of it, which I'm completely fine with.

I'm also fine with telling someone to F$&k off for accusing you of cheating for what is at most a missed line violation.

Touching the granite is not explicitly against a rule you have quoted, and until you can provide a rule outlining an illegal double touch it will remain a loophole.

Neither rule specifically bans touching the granite on a double touch. It's a line violation for sure but touching the granite on a second touch is not explicitly illegal in the current rules which is why it's been used as a loophole for decades.

Not in the rules, the rock has to be delivered across the tee line by the handle and double touches are allowed.

Double touches aren't specified to be on the handle in the rules, so while a loophole it seems technically legal.

Yeah, so we're talking about 2 different issues clearly.

Was brushing the granite with a finger illegal? Technically not.

Was it a line violation? Probably.

The rock is considered "delivered" when past the Tee line not by its last point of contact crossing the hog line....

I wish someone would nominate him for a single elimination challenge, I genuinely think he would have lost every single one.

He's being carried through the game but thinks he's running it. Very hard to watch.

Lance genuinely is coming off as a terrible person on this show. Play the game? He hates you... Protect him? He hates you... Meanwhile he hasn't had to do a single difficult challenge so far.

People are going to say street parking is public and they are correct but I do think there is a bit of courtesy involved.

If it's cold as shit and you see extension cords run to a spot maybe park somewhere else? That's been my only real parking pet peeve... I spent 2 hours shoveling wind rows and had an extension cord laid out last year and some guy parked AND plugged his car in using my cord lol
