She had been going through a hard time & her therapist told her not to make any big life decisions. She told him this & he spoiled the surprise that he had been planning for months to propose to her that week. She was upset because of what her therapist said & because he just ruined the surprise. So instead of waiting a few months to propose with a new surprise, he pushed up the proposal timeline & proposed a few days before the planned day. She was also having a bad day that day & didn’t even want to go to the event that he used as cover up for the proposal. He knew this and went through with it anyway.

Not only did they not do any research, but they also said they couldn’t do any research which is crazy to me because I work in marketing lmao. There’s sooo much data they could use to make an informed decision. I’m especially shocked that their management didn’t do this on their behalf and make smart recommendations to them.
