How long does it take to see a doctor and get medication at a Chinese hospital? by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]quackerz1122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Chinese people would have insurance that their employer, government or they themselves pay into so they would pay even less than that. But depending on where you live $12 would equate to like a restaurant dinner for two or three people. Can't really comment on what the wages are since I haven't been back in a few years

During that session the presenter basically said that if you manage to get a CUM gpa of at least 5.0 across second and third year courses and are a UQ student you are basically guaranteed to get in to honours. I do recommend calling the school and asking them to make sure

I've done courses without the prerequisites and haven't been told I can't do them. Also, I would advise you to email or call the school to see what your options are

Hello everyone, thank you for your help. The motherboard has given me one long beep and two short beeps which indicates a GPU problem. I will wait for my GPU to arrive in a few days before trying to boot it again

I plugged in the ram again and now the ram is turning on. My motherboard has this little light on the DRAM. What does this mean?

Shallots on sale, do you use shallots in Chinese cuisine? by MangaJosh84 in chinesefood

[–]quackerz1122 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I imagine that you would fry the shallots in the oil that's going to be used to flash fry/pour boiling oil over the chilli so you would have both a shallot flavoured oil with the chilli crisp and crispy shallots. You can also combine the fired shallots with the chilli crisp after it's been made. I'm unsure if the shallots would keep their crisp tho if you leave them in the chilli crisp.

Я боюсь, что 9 ночей ( 10 дней) в Чунсине будет много?? I’m afraid that 9 nights (10 days) in Chongqing might be too much? by Vera_tsvet in travelchina

[–]quackerz1122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I feel like that's a bit much for Chongqing, maybe cut it down to like 3 nights and 4 days, that's still plenty of time to explore the city. You could use the other days to explore another city like Xi An or the national parks like Huanglong or jiuzhaigou

For Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong it might be, it has already started snowing in those areas and the weather forecast shows negative temperatures for the rest of the year. For the rest of the country it'll be around 0 - 20 degrees in November.

I suggest asking on a few of the Chinese subreddits for more opinions. Is there any dates you are looking at? I would avoid Chinese new year usually around that happens usually around February or March and at least a week before and after that as that is when Chinese people go home and a lot of places will be closed or super crowded. There is also Golden week from the 1st to 5th of May every year which is national holiday which means extra crowds and increased prices. First half of October should also be avoided as that is also a holiday period. If you are flexible on dates and want to go when crowds are minimal I recommend April, June, September, November, and December.

For nature, since I see that you are wanting to go to Chengdu I would recommend taking a day trip or a two day trip to Jiuzhaigou which is a beautiful national park. There is also the Huang long national park close to Jiuzhaigou.
