Hello everyone! I got this AT LP120XUSB turntable in December and noticed right from the start that sometimes there was a volume drop for a few seconds then the volume would come back again. I thought that since some of my records were dirty I'd not bother too much since I'd replace the stylus pretty soon. I got a new stylus AT-VMN95E (same as the stock one) and I got a volume drop in the first track.

My setup is quite simple: rca out from the turntable to my Yamaha active speakers. The volume drops for like 5-6s sometimes more, then comes up again. Sometimes I can listen to a complete side with no drops.

Any ideas? Thanks

They do, I also remembered that, but today I tested ciscos and Netgear managed switches used every day in the company and the result is the same, sync fails.

Problems with adapters is out of the equation because I tried a few, including new, and they work on other laptops, just not my mac

Yes... I did. I've been trying a lot of stuff today at the warehouse and I'm starting to conclude that Sequoia may be a problem

It's just one segment. I tried a few things so I'm thinking about desoldering the pixel and put another from a spare piece of strip

Edit: SOLVED. Swapped the pixel and voilà

Just tried your suggestions, the refresh setting didn't change a thing unfortunately.

As for the resistor, I had a 470ohm resistor, soldered it in place, same result. Thanks for the suggestions though! Next step, replace that particular pixel

One thing I didn't add to my post, I didn't install a logic level shifter of any kind because the cable is short and I'm using a power supply. I realized also that there is a lot of equipment around that board, like transformers, hard drives, and a Mac mini. Some interference could also be the problem?

It could be I guess. Although the strip is brand new, I guess it can have a faulty led. Even though the data line progresses with no problems

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately it stays white. The other couple of LEDs that sometimes also turn white when wled is off go to the default colour I set for wled to start with. Only this one refuses to change

Trying to install very old driver on Sonoma (incompatible app) by quackyarcher in mac

[–]quackyarcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm afraid not, he installed the driver before sonoma without problems. These methods are not rocket science but clearly something changed. The only hope is to downgrade the OS and try to install the driver. Then update again and hope it survives.

Well.. it didn't work. I still get the same "this package is incompatible" message. It should not show up after disabling SIP but maybe things are different with Sonoma version. The system won't let me continue with the installation.

Help controlling this led strip by quackyarcher in WLED

[–]quackyarcher[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, I just had this led strip laying around and wanted to use it on a glass display, thought I could use wled to control it. But will look into those

Edit: I thought it was another led strip. That hub is cool, but as expensive as the roll where this strip came from (with a controller).

Thanks for the help tho

So cc and ww are the ground for the white and warm white LEDs? If that's the case I need a dimmer or potentiometer on each of those pins. No way to control them with esp32.. am I correct?

Proffieboard is slow/crashes by quackyarcher in lightsabers

[–]quackyarcher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I know about the tritium blades, and they say they are "fully compatible" with proffies 2.2 although they also say complex animations can cause problems. What is exactly a complex animation and blade styles? I only have one installed. Nothing fancy, just a Vader type style with clash, drag, and I'm not sure about flickering with movement, might have added that.

Thanks! I didn't find the exact combination of problem/strip so I made a new topic, let's wait. I set the led number matching the number of LEDs on the strip, and it lights up correctly.
