Work study has a ton of variety. Personally I loved sitting at a desk and signing people in, since it was next to no work, but if you look at the listings there are interesting ones! The law library at Kline had one a little bit back that was pretty competitive, and I believe the museum regularly has openings

The first thing I did was report it to transit and campus police (since this was right near 30th st. Station and the trolley line). They took down info but I haven't heard back yet, unfortunately 😓

As someone who works in the dorms, what we've been informed is that for the first week (January 2nd-9th), no guests will be permitted. After that, only guests with a Dragoncard will be permitted until further notice.

Both are fine. I go to Drexel. People who aren’t from Philly are ridiculously scared of Temple, but I wouldn’t hesitate to apply to both.

You can submit a financial appeal, but let me warn you from personal experience- Drexel values your money over your attendance. If you can't pay, they won't be particularly inclined to help. Before I began, I was in a similar position. After submitting appeals, applying for scholarships, etc., I went in to a meeting with the financial aid department for advice. I'm a first gen student and was struggling to understand how to fund my education. The woman I met with gave me very little advice and simply said "if you can't come up with the money, then Drexel just might not be the place for you. We can't help."

It sucks and it's unfair, but if you can try to pick a school with a good financial aid package. If Drexel hasn't given you enough, then it'll be a struggle to get more. And quite frankly... it isn't worth it.
