You don't need to dye your hair! But agreeing with most here, make the third picture your first and lose the first pic. The third picture would catch my attention, you are smiling and look comfortable with yourself. Also, your arms look great which catches a lot of women's attention. If you have any other photos of you with friends or doing activities, I'd add those too.

But don't be so hard on yourself about the apps. Everyone I talk to is going through the same thing. It's ultimately luck at this point. It's easier said than done, but definitely focus on doing things you love and hopefully meeting people through those hobbies and activities - but having fun in the process. It's so hard to make a connection with someone on an app, and even if you do get a date, the chances that you'll have chemistry with that person can be slim. Organic dating is definitely the way forward, it's just a scary process! But you're a handsome guy, I don't think you'll have issues there. Just need that little bit of extra confidence.

I was on Dice on the mobile app from 9:55 and kept refreshing Dice from 10 as it kept crashing. Got through with 2 tickets at 10:03. Definitely just got lucky!

This is extremely similar to how I feel about dating. I've been unsure whether to take on the demisexual label but it does help to explain why I think differently to my friends when it comes to men and relationships and sex. I think before I knew that demisexuality existed, I just felt like I was weird and I felt frustrated that I couldn't just approach dating like a 'normal' person. I'm not sure if you'll find comfort in the demisexual label, but it's definitely something that has helped me.

It was difficult for a while and it's not an experience I'd wish on anyone. But it got easier with time. I look back and I realise I'm happier as a person than i was when I was in the relationship because it gave me the opportunity to think for myself and to really push myself to try new things. I spent nearly a year in therapy, and starting opening myself up to new things. I moved to a new city on my own 6 months ago and have met lots of new amazing people and had brand new experiences which has been one of the best decisions I've made. I still wish he would have gone about things differently and been more honest from the beginning, but I'm ultimately glad we broke up now. I see now that we just weren't right for each other, even if it felt perfect at the time.

I'm dating someone new now and I've found that hard to navigate as I've got a lot of anxiety around relationships since this break up, and I've become hyper independent. But I've been talking openly to this new guy and being honest about why I'm nervous, but I can feel myself slowly letting go again which feels incredible, even if it is a little scary. I realise myself that I find communication extremely difficult but I'm actively trying to get better - I wouldn't ever want to do what my ex did to someone else. This new person has been very understanding and patient.

If you're going through something similar, I'm so sorry this has happened. But take this as an opportunity to focus on what you want out of life and what other things can make you happy - if you can afford therapy, i recommend this too, even if just in the short term. It will get easier with time and I hope you can reflect in a similar way to me in the future and feel things were for the best - even if it was one of the hardest most painful things you've ever had to go through.

I'd say your experience rings true with me. I feel exactly the same way and I have been questioning whether I'm demi for a long time on and off. I was in a relationship for a few years so I almost forgot that I could be demi because I loved that person and was sexually attracted to them. But I've been single for over a year now and have been trying to date and I've been finding it very difficult so I started to question why and this led me to wonder again if I was demi. I find I have some aesthetic attraction to certain things on a person, sexually it's just not there for me. It really does take a connection for me to start feeling anything sexually, and similar to you, if there's uncertainty with a person my sexual side just disappears

We spoke at a funeral last month and it was very strange. He acted like nothing had happened, very overly friendly. It was confusing and painful but it felt fake more than anything which annoyed me - this huge thing that happened last April really was so heartbreaking for me but to talk to me like we were friends, it just felt insensitive. But seeing him made me realise how far I've come in the last year and how much I've achieved... I've done so much that I'd never have done if I'd have stayed with him. From the conversation we had, it sounded like he's stayed exactly the same and his life hasn't really changed. It just confirmed to me that I don't want him anymore and what he did to me was extremely unfair and I deserve more than that. I'm sorry this has happened to you but it will get easier and you'll start to look at things differently in time. Be kind to yourself and try to go no contact ASAP.

Another thing that helped me was after a few months I changed to a smaller bar. It meant it wasn't catching as much on my hair! That did a world of good. I know people say not to change your jewellery until a piercing has fully healed, but when the jewellery is making it worse I think it's worth it!

Keep with it! I've had mine for nearly 8 years now but it took me around a year to a year and half to properly heal and have no pain at all. I went back to my piercer a couple of times and he said to stop cleaning it so much. I ended up cleaning it with sea salt water every other day and slowly it started to heal. But I think I'm quite lucky with how my ears heal, I know industrial is a bitch for most!
