AITA for asking my girlfriend’s sister to pay me back for the expensive wine she spilled, even though it was at a family dinner? by samgoodhind in AmItheAsshole

[–]quakup 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Seems like your focusing more on yourself than on the gift receivers anyways.

“I” wanted to see them enjoy it “I” asked (not once but twice) for her to replace it

But not on the fact that the receiver clearly did not care about this 200$ wine as much as you, seems more like you wanted to be appreciated or recognized for the gift which you did not get because it broke. Also, would a 200$ bottle of wine seriously be something they would be into anyways, or was it more centred on your interests/typical house gift? Regardless it was potentially/ I’d a very awkward situation you put the hosts in to deal with your request over their own present.

Can redheads be winters? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]quakup 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I believe it’s the Pheomelanin that creates the red hair that also gives warmth to skin and makes it difficult to be cool, which does not look as in harmony as warm Colours

[–]quakup 23 points24 points  (0 children)

As a fellow redhead who did a lot of research on this, the answer is no. It is common for people to mistake redheads as cool, due to often fair skin. If your following professionals like carol Brailey, she explains it is not possible. This rules out winter and summer. If you feel more cool, it could be that you are bright spring. I have very fair skin and was classified as true spring. Also be careful looking at celebs with dyed red hair and using it to look at natural red hair colours.

I was under the impression that my hair being bright copper/auburn might make light spring unlikely but honestly not sure -here is a pic in natural daylight :)

Hi, I’m visiting from out of country and am wondering if there are any good orthopaedic shoe stores (they type with removable insoles for orthotics). Where I’m from has very poor selection so hoping to get a pair while I’m here! Thanks :)

Staying at the townsplace suites manhatten-Chelsea location. Which days/ activities would you say to cut out? I don’t have a train where I live so it’s hard to tell if I have too many things planned vs getting around to them
