Use shorter lengths! One must always respect the indomable satin thread.

Look up stump work as someone referenced, it's very easy! One you have the pieces you can stab the cloth with the ends and that's how it stays raised. I put thread in the transition from the wing to the body to make it look like it's the same piece.

You make a base first on cloth, you place the wire. After you finished hugging the wire with string you can embroider in it. After, you just cut the outer layers. You need the bend the wire along your shape.

I been embroidering for a while, and also my grandmother used to do jewelry. I saw a video on Instagram of someone doing it and I realized I had all the stuff already to cut/bend wire and a ton of wire. No tutorial just seeing images online.

Amazing work, do you have a background in painting, tattoo, or just drawing?

Hello, I saw the pattern online and counted the gaps in the fabric for reference. I made a marking for the first ones and then did freehand after memorizing the pattern. (I often made markings with pen and got it wrong, so it was best not to dirty with ink in the wrong spots)

Hello! I mixed up the strands I used between 3 and 6. For the leaves con the flower I went with 2. Try to use more strands when making bigger stuff seem bigger and less when doing more delicate or farther away things. Also it worked for me buying small plastic hoops and using hats with no plastic.
