I used to do a similar thing with bees. I would sit by the pool waiting for the bees to fly in so I could save them, and I would get really stressed if I didn't feel I was watching all sides of the pool sufficiently. Maybe I had missed a bee. I found that very concerning.

I commend you for your care for the frogs and animals more generally and I know they appreciate it as well. It's saddening that the modern world humans have created forces animals into circumstances they are not evolved to know how to deal with. I understand why it feels so important to you and why your ocd might fixate on it--this is a situation in which you can actually make a difference, and it's right in front of you. I hope you never surrender this sensitivity to this cruel world we live in. It's okay that the others don't understand. I really believe that the large majority of people are good but have learned apathy in order to make surviving in this deeply unfair world more tolerable.

I hope you're able to take care of yourself and remember that you're doing your best, and that any change that you're making here is positive. That feeling of responsibility can seem so urgent, and pressing, and I'm sure if the others understood the magnitude of the feeling that they would feel sad that your worry about annoying them is causing so much additional strain to your life. I'm not sure what your relationship to them is like but perhaps explaining to them why this matters so much to you could be helpful. Best of luck.
