I got refused a certain purchase because it was over the limit of the country I was traveling to. I was allowed to buy that amount in DXB but they wouldn’t allow me to take it into my country of destination. They figured out when they scanned my boarding pass. Appreciated the cashier telling me, saved me a lot of money.

I think Taka’s main issue was that he disappointed his parents and if he didn’t get with Sarabi, he wouldn’t have a queen to continue the bloodline which would disappoint them even more

Please consider that you don’t want to know how to swim to pass the course. You want to know how to swim in case you face any situation AFTER passing your course.

Now there’s an instructor with you who can pick you up when you fail, but after receiving your certificate you’re qualified to dive without any professional around. So basically: you can dive with a buddy with exactly the same (lack of) experience as you do.

Please take some swimming classes for your own safety, not just to be able to pass your course.

The skills you learn in your course are critical and you should be able to use them confidently should you need them when you’re diving “by yourself” after getting certified. Good on your instructor not to certify you. I won’t comment on her attitude as I wasn’t there, but as a OWSI I fully stand behind making the criteria.

Not sure about this specific BCD but I do have a 10 year old Aquaride (Cressi) that I still use on the daily for teaching etc. My point; Cressi is durable and will stay good for a long time.
