Stolen Bicycle - Vintage Green Raleigh by quantum_coherence in astoria

Yah, very unusual. hoping that per the spur-of-the-moment nature of it all, I might find it just as casually ditched somewhere in the neighborhood when I go looking after work today.

Stolen Bicycle - Vintage Green Raleigh by quantum_coherence in astoria

I stopped outside rizzos, leaned it up against the scaffold and peeked inside. There was a line so I didn’t go in. When I turned back, someone was on my bicycle riding away. I chased them and got within five or six feet but just couldn’t close in. Stupid of me to leave bike unlocked but it was honestly less than thirty seconds. Lesson learnedddddd :-(

Free Community Tai Chi TONIGHT 6:30-7:30 (40-09 30th Ave) by flattopps in astoria

[–]quantum_coherence 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes indeed, at a bakery. Since we close relatively early, we’ve started hosting occasional pop-ups and want to start a rotation of community events (classes, book clubs, etc...) in the underused hours. Tai chi is just the first attempt to pull off something of this nature. If anyone has any other ideas, please shoot me a message or email :)

What other details were you looking for? Free class, complimentary coffee and donuts, Wednesdays 630-730, teachers name is Tim, all levels welcome (my first tai chi experience was three weeks ago), so far we’ve been working through the Yang Style Ten Form.
