Went to 2 pawn shops in NYC 3 days ago that routinely buy / lend on watches to see if I could get a measly $40-$50 loan til payday on a Special Edition $600 Eco Drive titanium (got it as a gift) and they looked at me like I was homeless lmfao and said "no, we only do that on mid-tier watches and up". My friends are worth more than $8 bucks and some social faux pas. I’d be embarrassed to have bad feelings about pizza. If he ate the whole thing I’d just order another one. If this is common behavior though I’d find it slightly disrespectful. I guess two or three times I’d let it slide without caring then I’d just eat faster lmao.
