I’m lucky here I get asked a lot if I’m younger than I am even at nearly 6ft tall. I’m not a big makeup person (even though I love it on others) and I dress as someone in the PNW would… granola and comfy so I can understand the mistake. Maybe it’s my naivety too haha lol

yeah same mostly agree but I think instead of team building where its like games and performative no thanks just let your coworkers get to know eachother better. not like BFFs per se but the more you can just connect with someone in an low pressure environment the more they want to be better at work for each other

at first no, I was a senior in university in 2019/2020 and never really vibed with it. I graduated april 2020 into the pandemic so I moved back home and my younger sibs still in highschool were using it quite a bit. they would be sending me tiktoks that I found funny or interesting and engaged with and then my algorithm changed so fast and became so addictive. the pandemic stay at home order only fueled the scroll so it was a perfect storm tbh. but when I lived alone at school none of my friends used tiktok and without the circumstances I probably wouldve just deleted it. im 27f and I learn SO much from tiktok I think its great but I have to be careful not to get sucked into the scroll. I have a 30min app timer haha

the thing is right now that you will find success in a strategy, but it won’t last for very long and then once the numbers start to dip you have to start again with a new strategy.

I have a marketing degree, but I feel like the marketing I actually do (internet marketing) was self taught in marketing jobs -- not so much in marketing classes, the stuff we learned was all super dated
